ARBOUR HOUSE

WHAT

Location: Crouch End, London

Architect: Andrei Saltykov & Partners

Photography: French and Tye

Description: An ambitious new build project that had a long and complex planning history and saw us undertake our most challenging build to date.

Set amongst the trees in the heart of Crouch End, this is a house that sits perfectly within its setting but features unique, striking architectural features. Clad in porcelain, with bedrooms below-ground and a split-level ground floor space, the dominant feature is a soaring, expansive diagrid timber multi-pitch ceiling/roof, formed from glulam beams and poplar ply panels. The end result is a house that is visually impressive, yet calming and cosy.

We are delighted that this house has featured in architectural and design press and has been shortlisted for a RIBA London award, 2026.
